Some factors that help a neighbourhood be more desirable include: proximity to good schools, closeness to the river valley, access to Whitemud Freeway, the Yellowhead, and Anthony Henday freeways, LRT (light rail transit) access and proximity to the University of Alberta to name a few. Here are a few different ways of ranking a neighbourhood's popularity based on sales statistics, and I realize this is a very subjective topic!
