 Cumberland Neighbourhood The Cumberland neighbourhood in northwest Edmonton is built around a man made lake. The Signature Pointe area within Cumberland features large homes with walkout lots that back onto the lake. The Cumberland area is also known as Skyview. Cumberland is part of the Cumberland/Oxford Community league. Cumberland is located in the northwest area of the city. The main access to Cumberland is off of 127th Street to the east. The oldest homes in the area were built in the 1990s, but most of the construction of single family residential units took place in the early 2000s. The majority of the Cumberland neighbourhood (over 90% of residential units) are single family detached homes. There is also a over 5 hectare park in the neighbourhood.
